Hey! Nokia updated its N70 phone. It now has a 1GB card, a normal earphone plug and a "dedicated" music button. Well, all they did was change the diamond icon on one of the keys to a musical note - ala the Motorola Rckr E1.

Why is this important? Because a 1GB card can hold a lot of Church documents -since the N70 Music Edition as built in Word, Powerpoint, Excel and PDF support. You can read Summa Theologica on the phone - plus all the church fathers works too!

Still don't know what I'm talking about? Get the Latest Fish Magazine and find out how you can use Cellphones to learn about the faith.

5. Something from a blogger who's not a fan!

I am not a 'United' fan. I do not know the Whos in that youth group of Hillsong because they are not my contemporary. the reason why I knew their songs was because my church, Grace Place. adopted most of the songs of Hillsong, both the Darlene's genre & that of Joel's, as part of our Praise & Worship repertoire. My growth as a committed Christian developed with their songs as the very essential accessories and my calling as a pastor was enhanced by their lyrics. I shouted, cried and lifted my hands and heart with their songs. Those perfectly into words my prayers of worship & praise.

6. Jordan's Blog Entry:

United Rocks!

I always wondered what it was like to be in a United Live DVD & last night, I actually experienced it! It was a heart attack! I nearly died trying to keep up with the mosh pit till the end, well not really cause no one was really slammin. But we up there were all soaked & looked like been sprayed by the fire department, after all, everyone was on fire! It was nonstop jumping, shouting & praising God! Nobody minded the heat or if it was smellin. Let me just say that was the best concert I've been to, period. Because it wasn't really a concert, it was worship & at it's best for the new generation. Just like I predicted, it would be a sold out event. Alot of people were bugging me about tickets, but it was too late. I warned em they better get em soon. The place was so packed & it took a while to get everybody in. We barely fit in there. They had to open the gates earlier than what was scheduled because the long line outside was causing a traffic jam. This was indeed bigger than any Christian youth concert I've been to here in the Philippines. When United took stage, all heaven broke loose! Sometimes it got so loud, you couldn't even hear the band & I was in front.

7. Blog post and lots more pictures from MASAWI

I know that this post is a bit late. But I don't care. Haha =D To tell you the truth, I didn't plan on writing a blog entry on what happened last tuesday night because no words can ever do it justice. But, I just had to share what I experienced to people out there. Hope you guys will feel blessed by this post, kahit konte lang, hehe =D

Hillsong United came to Manila on Nov. 21, 2006. But they weren't here for a concert. Yes, the night was filled with great music - nonstop rocking, jamming, singing, jumping, and shouting...

10. Talkative Tina's really story review blogpost.

There are only a few events in my life that had rendered me speechless. These things have to be pretty darn good to make me speechless because well…I’m a talking machine. These are (well, those that I can remember at least): Jars of Clay concert, Christ Wars Megacamp and last night’s event, Hillsong United in Manila.

This is one of the hardest parts in having to experience something so tremendously wonderful. It’s hard to document it after, especially when you can’t find the words to describe the entire event. But of course, because it’s such a wonderful experience…I can’t just let it remain in memory without writing it down lest I want to forget it (which I really don’t think I will :p). Anyway.

12. Deep thoughts about this "Concert". (maybe that's why Reuben Morgan always said its a "Worship Event?").

When I first heard that Hillsong UNITED would play in Manila, I must admit that I wasn't as thrilled about the idea as my friends were. Not because I didn't like them; there's a reason why UNITED's songs are a staple at FullCup after all -- they're talented musicians and, more importantly, their songs speak to FullCup's young regulars -- but the thought of going to a worship-concert that is predominantly more of a concert than worship initially didn't sit well with me.

15. Ticket Buying Story by Kat.

From the purchasing of the ticket to me being at Ninoy Aquino
Grandstand with my siblings and friends..they're all from God.. every
blessing poured upon me.. I DONT deserve.. Ok, my thoughts are mixed
up due to the term >>> OVERWHELMED.

First things first..
The ticket: Thanks to r 3 hour break every friday, Jiggy and I were able
to "travel" Manila to buy but the tickets..

1st stop: SM Manila

Run, run as fast as you can!! You got 1 week left before the concert!
Pray hard girls!

Result: # of tickets left --- NONE!!

Ok, don't be disappointed. It has a purpose.. So what's the purpose?
hmm... bonding time? learn more of the traffic schemes in Manila? (as if
we're not so familiar with it..)What else? Faith perhaps.. knowing that
there are other malls we can go to? such as??

2nd stop: Rob Place

16. Racheal's reaction: Just Do it!

This has nothing to do with Nike (hehe!) but it has everything to do with being all fired up and passionate for JESUS!

Tuesday evening we went to a Hillsong United concert, which was a total blast. Oh boy! I danced, sang, praised and worshipped God like there was no tomorrow. I didn’t care about what people might have thought, as King David said: "I'll become even more undignified than this for my Lord". It was just awesome to see Christians getting together and being all out in worshipping God. It was a taste of heaven!
